Questions about the Witney Nutrition Club

The free assessment, the club, the programme, the calculators. Answers to the questions visitors ask most often.

The free assessment

Is the assessment really free?
Yes. Your first assessment is free with no obligation. What the free assessment measures.
How do I book the free assessment?
Through the form on this site or by phone. The club calls you back at lunchtime, in the afternoon or in the evening.

The club

Where is the club?
At 6 Waterloo Walk, Witney, west of Oxford. The club welcomes people from Witney and nearby towns and villages, Curbridge, Hailey, Ducklington, Minster Lovell, North Leigh, Freeland, Eynsham, Long Hanborough, Standlake, Carterton, Bampton, Charlbury, Burford and Oxford.
What are the club’s opening hours?
Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 11am. Tuesday evening, from 6pm to 7:30pm. Saturday, from 7am to 11am. Closed on Sunday.

The programme

Do I need to come to the club every day?
Support is daily, and many working members come in for breakfast at the club before work. You agree the pace with your coach at the assessment.
Do I have to stop eating the food I love?
No. The healthy eating plan offered at the club in Witney fits your tastes and your routine, with no deprivation.
How much does the programme cost?
The price is set at the assessment, depending on your goal. Your first assessment is free with no obligation.

The calculators

Is BMI enough to tell whether I should lose weight?
No. BMI does not tell fat from muscle. Your waist measurement and the body fat reading at the assessment tell you more.
Are my figures saved?
No. The calculation runs on your phone or computer. Nothing is saved or sent to the club.
Are the calculators right for everyone?
They are designed for adults. During pregnancy, under 18, over 65 or with a BMI under 18.5, the right person to talk to is your doctor.

Become a coach

Do I need to have been a member to become a coach?
Yes, the path starts with being a club member. You become a member, then a coach. Later, depending on your path, you open your own club.
Online club or club with premises, which should I choose?
Both work well and can be combined. Online, you start without premises and support your members by video call. A club with premises brings its members together over breakfast every morning. You plan the choice with Rachel and Sara at a meeting at the club.
